Jurgen Klopp is sweating over the fitness of Fabinho for Liverpool’s next Premier League clash.
The Brazilian hobbled off with a hamstring injury during the Reds’ entertaining 4-3 win overCrystal Palace on Saturday.
And although Liverpool are not in action until the end of the month, Klopp fears he will be missing the influential summer signing, along with James Milner who saw red.
He said: “I would imagine Milly out now and Fabinho for sure a doubt, it would have been a massive challenge if we should play on Wednesday and Saturday again.
“I’ve no idea how we would have done that. It would be now two days recovery for the boys with the most minutes. The others train and then we start preparation for the Leicester game which is another tough task.
“But it won’t be a real break. We will use it for training.”
Liverpool have not had their injury troubles to seek this season but should welcome Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez back for the visit of Leicester on Janaury 30.
